Consider accessing our Level 1 training. In it we discuss developmental milestones for language development as well as activities and strategies to support children at different ages and stages. We also discuss when onward referral to specialist services for assessment and advice is appropriate.

You can direct families to the ‘parents and caregivers’ section of this website. You can also signpost parents to the Help Kids Talk Facebook and Instagram page for regular tips and advice on supporting communication development.

We have developed 12 key messages as guidance to parents, caregivers and practitioners working with children. You can download our posters and display the message of the month poster somewhere visible to your parents and families.
